Abstract Induction motors (IMs) are the most widely employed electrical due to their robust construction and adaptability. Due versatility wide range of applications, it is crucial examine performance these using a simple but thorough simulation model. In this study, we present models conduct DC test, no-load locked rotor test on three-phase induction motor MATLAB/Simulink. These three tests fundamental determining characteristics equivalent circuit. Furthermore, authors extend model determine starting current, torque, breakdown torque under inquiry. The research further employs right code in MATLAB environment ascertain motors' torque-speed current-speed properties. results simulations found closely match values achieved real trials.
